Skills Training

With the constant churn of farm workers and the seasonal nature of the sugar industry, regular skills training is important to maintain effective productivity.  The STC Agricultural Skills Training is provided on farms, under operational conditions and according to the farming cycle.  STC training instructors provide training while farm workers are working. As a result, there is no disruption to farming operations. All competent learners receive an in-house certificate for the skills courses.

STC ensures that growers comply with legislation by offering the following statutory training on their farms:
